100 esempi di frasi con avverbi in inglese

Gli avverbi, insieme alle preposizioni e ai verbi, sono un argomento che può causare mal di testa agli studenti di inglese. E non è da meno! In inglese ci sono molti avverbi, e non tutti si comportano allo stesso modo. Ma non bisogna disperarsi. Il modo migliore per imparare a usarli è familiarizzare con loro, vederli in azione; e per questo ti offriamo cento esempi di frasi con avverbi in inglese.

Ma prima, facciamo una rapida revisione di cosa sono gli avverbi e a cosa servono.

Cosa sono gli avverbi

Gli avverbi indicano come, quando, dove accade o si fa qualcosa. Cioè, la loro funzione è quella di fornire ulteriori informazioni su ciò che sta accadendo o su ciò che qualcuno sta facendo. Guarda questa frase:

• My brother drives carefully ➡️ Mio fratello guida con attenzione.

In questo esempio, la parola carefully ("con attenzione") ci indica come il soggetto compie l'azione. Questa è la funzione degli avverbi.

In inglese, alcuni avverbi si formano da un aggettivo aggiungendo il suffisso -ly. Ad esempio:

• quick (veloce) ➡️ quickly (velocemente)
• soft (soffice) ➡️ softly (sofficemente)

Ma questo non vale sempre. Molti avverbi sono parole a sé stanti.

Tipi di avverbi
